Number of Years at The Outdoor GreatRoom Company (OGC): I started here right after I graduated college, so it will be 13 years in September, which is crazy to say out loud.

What is your overall experience/background?

I was a server at a restaurant during college and then at a sports bar after I graduated. With 5 years of customer service experience, I stepped into this role and have been in the industry ever since - 13 years!

Memorable moment at OGC?

One of my most memorable moments was when we hit the 10 million dollar mark. We all raised a glass to cheers the company and Dan. Unfortunately he was no longer with us, but to celebrate that milestone and to continue to keep Dan's legacy and dream alive was pretty special.

Why do you love working at OGC?

Hands down the people! I think it's very rare to work for a company where you are actually excited to come to work Monday mornings. Sure we have moments of frustration; but at the end of the day, we all get along so well and genuinely enjoy being around each other. We work hard but have a lot of fun, and I consider myself very lucky to be a part of a company that values its employees the way OGC does.

Favorite OGC Product?

My favorite product is the Alcott Fire Table. I love watching HGTV and especially Fixer Upper, so when we decided to create a product that incorporated shiplap, I was all for it!

Fun Fact: Are you more of an early bird or night owl?

Thanks to having 2 little kids, I am definitely more of an early bird.

What do you enjoy in your free time?

In my free time I like to hang out with friends and either cook or go out and try new restaurants. I love hanging out with my family! I enjoy working out, playing volleyball, or doing anything that helps clear my mind for a bit.
