We've always taken great pride in creating a realistic, long lasting flame and for the last three years, our engineering team has been hard at work on the next generation of Crystal Fire® Plus Burners and we're excited to announce they're complete! Read on to learn about what's new, what's stayed the same and all other information about our burners!
What's New?
Visually, you won't notice much difference from our previous burners when it comes to the actual flame, but we have made a few changes to the burner itself.

Enhanced burner port placement creating a larger more realistic flame
- Wind guard was redesigned to prevent fire media from falling into the ignition area causing nuisance shutdowns
- Manual Ignition Burners can completely cover the wind guard (it needs to remain uncovered in electronic ignition burners)

Reinforced construction maintains shape and performance, with or without media
- Thermocouple comes attached to burner
- Installation is as easy as connecting the wires to the control panel, installing control panel to fire feature and connecting the gas
- Additional sizes added: 12" Round & 16" Square
- Burner Plates (Linear) now come at default width of 24" and can be trimmed to work with any custom outdoor fire feature
What's the Same?
- While more efficient, the overall look of the flame as well as BTU output has remained unchanged
- All the components underneath the burner are the same with the exception of the thermocouple, which is now attached
- The sizes of all the burner pans are the same
- Each burner undergoes leak and flame sensing testing to ensure quality product is leaving our manufacturing space
- Every 100th burner built gets a full 4-hour audit to ensure it's performing as designed
- Clearances have not changed

- Electronic ignition controls are the same
