Number of Years at The Outdoor GreatRoom Company (OGC): I can't believe it will be almost 14 years at OGC for me! Where has the time gone?!
How many years of experience in the industry? I've been in this industry for 17 years.
What is your overall experience/background?
I worked at Hearth & Home Technologies®/Heat & Glo® as an administrator with several current and past OGC members. I also worked as a special risk insurance underwriter for 8 years.
Memorable moment at OGC?
After years of working with Dan Shimek at Heat & Glo®, I was asked to come and work at Fire Stone (now Outdoor GreatRoom Company). I started the day we moved into our first Burnsville office.
Why do you love working at OGC?
I really enjoy the variety of my workflow as it changes daily. The projects and new challenges make for a fluid schedule that is never boring.
Favorite OGC Product?
The new Denali Brew fire pit table is my favorite fire table so far. I really like the rustic simplicity of it along with some of our new innovations, like the LP tank sliding access door and the folding wind guard.
What's your favorite holiday tradition?
My favorite family tradition would be Thanksgiving night after we get home. We watch "Home Alone"to kick off the holiday movie season, then we have leftovers and get in a quick nap before heading out early for some Black Friday shopping.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, hanging out with my family, and lazy days with my cat Thunder Paws.
