Number of Years at The Outdoor GreatRoom Company (OGC): I have been with the company for 12 years in March.

How many years of experience in this industry? I have 24 years of experience in the industry.

What is your overall experience/background?

I worked various jobs at Heat-N-Glo® - positions ranged from A/P, customer service, IT and marketing. A few years later I started at The Outdoor GreatRoom Company as a credit manager and some customer service.

I was kicked out of credit rather quickly, as I was better at building relationships than putting the hammer down to collect money. OGC has given me the opportunity to work with marketing, customer service, IT and operations, which is one of the many things I like about our company.

Memorable moment at OGC?

Working with and for Dan Shimek brings so many memorable moments. I learned so much from Dan, and he gave me the opportunity to grow into the position I have today.

Why do you love working at OGC?

I know it sounds cliché but I really enjoy the people I work with every day. Not only the crew at OGC, who make it easy to want to come to work, but we have pretty amazing customers too.

Favorite OGC Product?

I love the Vintage line. Of course it's a big trend right now, so if you ask me next year, this might change.

What do you enjoy in your free time?

Spending time with family and friends, running, and volleyball. (yes, I know, I should retire!)
