Number of Years at The Outdoor GreatRoom Company (OGC): I started in a mentor program with OGC back in high school. Then I interned here as well during college. I have officially been here full-time for 6 years.
What is your overall experience/background?
I did some cold calling right out of college. Once a customer service job opened up at OGC, I applied as quickly as possible. I started in customer service and then made my way to sales.
Memorable moment at OGC?
A memorable moment was attending my first HPBExpo. It was fun to walk around the show and see the industry that the company started from. It was also the only tradeshow I attended with Dan Shimek (founder).
Why do you love working at OGC?
The people that work here is probably the main reason (I think I have to say that since half my family works here!), but it's also such fun products to sell!
Favorite OGC Product and why?
I would say the Renegade portable fire pit. I was a part of the design process which was really fun. Since it is cold here in MN, we get to use this product for tailgating most of the season at the MN Gopher Football games!

Fun Fact: If you could visit any place, where would it be and why?
Croatia has been on the top of my list to visit for a while because of the scenic views and history. Hopefully during my Europe trip next year, I get to visit.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
Traveling is one of my favorite hobbies. I love watching MN sports, attending concerts, and hanging out with friends & family.
