At Casual Market Atlanta 2026, we spoke with dealers and explored the show floor to see what's shaping outdoor furniture and fire features. Here are six trends that stood out, from compact pieces and earth tones to multifunctional designs.
1) Smaller Sizes Finding Their Niche
In our conversations at the show, dealers pointed to growing interest in smaller chairs, tables, fire tables and other outdoor pieces. They described customers with smaller patios who still want those spaces to feel like an oasis, creating a need for compact furniture options.
Our new 36" Round Vosera Fire Table earned praise for its compact yet elegant style, a rarity in the outdoor fire space.

2) Brown & Earth Tones Still Dominating
We've been watching this trend for a few years, and at the show we continued to see browns, earth tones such as tan and linen, and deep greens. These colors can bring a relaxing, nature-inspired feel to outdoor spaces.

3) Beach & Coastal Inspiration Growing in Influence
Earth tones aren't for everyone. We also saw beachy, coastal-inspired furniture, including fabric patterns featuring palm trees and seashells and pieces in colors such as white, off-white, sand and driftwood.

4) Buying Patterns Shifting toward Higher-Ticket, Lower-Quantity Purchases
Our trade partners and other industry members told us that some customers are shifting from smaller, more frequent purchases toward higher-ticket items bought together, such as a complete set or everything needed to transform an outdoor space at once.

Trade partners also told us that price remains a key factor in buying decisions, with some customers approaching the highest prices they're willing to pay. They described tariffs and geopolitical factors as additional pressures on manufacturers' margins.
5) Multifunctionality Is a Selling Point
Among the versatile pieces drawing attention were coffee tables that convert to fire tables while fitting in with different furniture sets and layouts.

6) Uniqueness Is a Must
In our conversations at the show, we heard interest in distinctive colors, shapes and designs rather than cookie-cutter styles. Pieces with a handcrafted feel can bring character and a homey feel to outdoor spaces.
