Product Spotlight: Brooks & Kenwood Dining Fire Tables

Introducing our Product Spotlight blog series! This series will highlight various products across our entire offering and provide product insights, design tips and more! We're kicking things off with our Brooks & Kenwood Dining Fire Tables.

The Specs

Constructed with an easy-to-maintain composite deck material in your choice of Taupe or Umber Brown and graphite grey aluminum framing, the Brooks & Kenwood Dining Fire Tables seamlessly blend style, functionality and durability.

These fire tables stand 30" high with a top that's 80.69" by 49" and features a 12" x 42" linear Crystal Fire Plus burner, which is tested and certified by UL, ensuring you'll not only be cozy and warm at your table, but also safe! These tables also come with a glass burner cover that you can use to place over the burner, expanding your dining and serving space when you don't want to use the flame!

Finally, The Brooks & Kenwood Dining Tables have a removable door that conceals a 20 lb propane tank, allowing for easy operation, while maintaining a clean look. Both the tables can also operate on our electronic ignition system if you don't want to use an LP tank! Styling

One of our favorite features of the Brooks & Kenwood Dining Fire tables is their versatility when it comes to seating! Because of tables' height and neutral color palettes, the options you have for pairing are endless!

We'd suggest padded outdoor dining chairs, long or short benches or even small sofas as perfect pairings! If the Umber Brown of the Kenwood collection is up your alley, you can check out our matching benches! We've also seen some really great combinations with poly-based furniture like this dealer's display!

Avoid deep-seated chairs as you likely will not be able to comfortably reach the table and therefore you're missing out on the delicious food and warmth of the flame!

Many of our customers also like to add on a glass wind guard to protect hands, food and drinks from the open flame while also enhancing the visuals of flame with the reflections on the glass! The Brooks and Kenwood dining tables can use our standard linear glass guard or our folding glass guard, adding an extra layer of versatility to the table!

This is a large fire table, one of the largest in our collection, so it's important to make sure you have the proper amount of space to not only fit the fire table, but also your seating. Here are our recommendations for choosing chairs that will best fit with these fire tables:

Gap Between Fire Table and Seat: A 10-12 inch gap is the sweet spot for ergonomic comfort, allowing enough legroom for most people.

Height from Ground to Seat: An 18–20 inch range is pretty standard, but the most comfortable seat height depends on you! If you're taller, you'll likely prefer a seat on the lower end of the recommended range to give your legs more room.

Consider Cushion Compression: If the chairs you pick have a cushion, remember those will likely flatten a bit when someone sits on them, which can reduce the effective seat height by an inch or two.

Depending on the exact location you have in mind for the fire table, you'll also want to make sure you're meeting the proper safety clearances as well. These clearances can be found in the product manual.
